Founded in 1904 as a private foundation, oncological research is now conducted at the Georg-Speyer-Haus, Institute for Tumor Biology and Experimental Therapy: our goal is to better understand the molecular and cellular basis of tumor development and to find new approaches for cancer therapy. The Georg-Speyer-Haus is linked to the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main by a cooperation agreement and is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art and the Federal Ministry of Health.
