Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in new business sales and quota attainment.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and German to manage client relationships in this area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building a pipeline from scratch through strategic and tactical focus and execution.
  • Experience planning, delivering, and executing marketing campaigns, measurement, and creative strategy.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and knowledge of the local market with insights into both digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop a working strategy.
  • Independent, comfortable with ambiguity, and ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients.

Our New Business Development team works on game‑changing ideas, from technological experiments to the expansion of existing businesses into new territories. We’re a team of technologists, entrepreneurs, and leaders with an eye for what’s next, working across Google to develop products and ideas that revolutionize the way people connect with information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire new‑business acquisition cycle from early stages to closing customers and maintaining the relationship for six months after closure to ensure customer satisfaction, performance, and upsell opportunities.
  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by proactively identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working closely with Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency, and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire high‑touch, high‑value business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals, utilizing the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions (e.g., YouTube, Google Search & Shopping, Google Display Network, App Promotion).
