Account Executive - North America

Stellenbeschreibung:

North America is our biggest growth opportunity, and we need a hunter to own it.

You'll own enterprise sales for North America end‑to‑end: generate your own pipeline, run complex multi‑stakeholder deals, and close contracts. There is no warm book of business waiting for you – you will build it from zero, working closely with the CEO to identify the right accounts, get in the room, and win.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline generation: prospect and qualify your own leads across North America’s most emissions‑intensive industries, defining targets and opening doors.
  • Full‑cycle enterprise sales: own deals from first outreach through to signed contract, managing discovery, multi‑stakeholder processes, negotiation, and close.
  • Subject‑matter credibility: act as a genuine sustainability and supply‑chain SME in front of procurement leads, CFOs, and sustainability directors.
  • Customer onboarding: support new customers through their first steps to ensure early success and lay the groundwork for long‑term retention and expansion.
  • Market intelligence: bring insights from the field back to Marketing and Product—regulatory shifts, competitor movements, and prospect pain points—to sharpen the roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Enterprise B2B sales experience: closed complex, multi‑stakeholder deals and managed long sales cycles.
  • Strong connections and fluency in the North American market: understand how enterprise buying decisions are made in the US and/or Canada.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, supply‑chain, or industrial sectors: speak credibly to procurement directors and CFOs about why carbon data is a business‑critical issue.
  • Comfort operating in a startup environment: build strategies and playbooks on the fly.
  • Based in Germany (Munich or Berlin) but willing to travel to North America for events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
