About the job

Your three biggest challenges in the first year:

• You bring VARM into the next growth phase by executing on key projects
• You are leading the roll-out of a totally new business line
• You are the driving force behind our geographic expansion into new markets

As our Special Projects / Business Development Lead, you will be instrumental in propelling VARM into our next growth phase. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of the founding team of Europe’s Insulation Champion. Work together with our Founders to execute bold, big and smaller projects to continuously grow demand and address relevant business challenges.

• Be in full charge of our expansion strategies ensuring we will hit our growth targets
• Work closely with the founding team to tackle strategic issues and be a sparring partner for strategic and operational challenges
• Initiate and take full ownership for strategic and operational projects driving them forward

About you

• You have a very strong background, e.g., in management consulting, preferably with experience at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG (MBB), IB, a fast growing start-up / scale-up or another fast-paced, highly demanding environment
• You are adept at managing complex projects and are comfortable working in constantly changing environments
• You possess a keen interest in sustainability and are driven by a desire to make a tangible impact on the climate-tech landscape
• Proven ability to think strategically, exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex scenarios into actionable solutions
