Aboutthe project/Role description

Theproject is planning the expansion of the existing Hamburg Refinery, by addingthe following process units and facilities: HVO Unit, pre-treatment Unit,tank farm balance (tanks partially supplied by others), interconnectinglines, new electrical substation and rack room, interconnecting cablesbetween new substation building and existing substation and control room.

The Construction Quality Manager (QAM) is appointed for major projects or forprojects of difficulty due to the size or to the complex contractualstructure, like Consortium or Joint Venture (where the Company has theleadership role).

His/hermain responsibility is to keep relations with Partners and Client to ensurethat QA/QC Plan and procedures are correctly applied by all members ofConsortium (if any), verify the uniformity and coordination among all membersand ensure uniformity and coherence.

Dutiesand responsibilities

• To ensure Site Quality Planadequacy and application at Site, arranging any reviews, if required.
• To verify Non DestructiveTest, Welding Inspectors activities, Painting & Corrosion Inspectorsactivities and quality control site team activities

Toensure the proper preparation of the test, inspection reports and books

• To review Subcontractors’site Quality System, Quality Organization and procedures
• To check the flow of information anddocuments, for example Request for Inspections, follow up of the activitieswith subcontractors, non-conformities
• To identify anyorganizational or procedural defect, analysing critical points,arranging any corrective action together with the Site Manager andinforming the home office pertinent departments.
• To plan and performperiodical Audit on Subcontractors activities.
• To prepare his/her own section of theProject Monthly report.

The Construction Quality Manager operativelyreports to the Site Manager

Experience

• At least 5 years ofexperience in industrial construction works, preferred Oil & Gas.
• Appreciated degree inengineering or technical discipline.

Skillsand Abilities

Adaptedto work in diverse and multicultural environment.

Able towork under time and target pressure.

SpecialRequirements and Comments
