Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.

Your role and key responsibilities

• Assumption of the independent supervision of all technical topics in the field of high-voltage testing (HiPot)
• Ensuring and monitoring cleanliness requirements, especially with regard to particle contamination in the assembly area
• Responsibility for all topics related to camera-based visual inspection systems
• Optimization and adaptation of these inspection systems to ensure stable production control
• Ensuring product neutrality during ramp-up and series production
• Supporting the team by taking over several production steps due to staff shortages
• Bringing in missing expertise in the current team
• Support of ongoing and upcoming projects
• Participation in foreseeable support needs
• Ensure timely availability and contribution due to urgent need

What you bring to the team

• Master of engineering or comparable qualification
• Experience in mass production for prismatic cell in cell sealing area or/and experience in new product introduction and ramp up
• Expertise in high‑voltage (HiPot) testing
• Technical cleanliness
• Knowledge in automated optical inspection (AOI) methods in battery cell manufacturing
