About usFinancial Accountant (Hands-On Accounting & Reporting) Cologne Area International Technology & Manufacturing Environment Hybrid Working (Initial Onsite Focus)Our client is an international technology business operating within a highly specialised manufacturing environment. Due to continued growth and increasing international reporting requirements, they are looking to hire a hands-on Finance Manager to support the local German finance function and act as the key interface to the international headquarters.TasksThis is not a pure strategic CFO role.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the numbers, operating within SAP, owning reporting and accounting processes, and supporting a lean but highly important finance function.You will join a small finance team consisting of accountants and controlling functions while acting as the local finance lead for Germany.Your ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGBSupport quarterly and year-end US GAAP consolidation reportingOwnership of month-end and year-end closing activitiesPreparation of reconciliation files and reporting packagesMain contact person for auditors, tax advisors and international headquartersManagement of VAT-related topics, tax preparation support and compliance activitiesSupporting transfer pricing and cross-border finance processesWorking directly within SAP finance processes and postingsSupporting payroll/payment approvals and cash management processesInventory, asset and manufacturing-related finance activitiesBudgeting, forecasting and operational finance supportSupporting ongoing ERP/SAP optimisation and future S/4HANA-related activitiesProfileWhat We Are Looking ForStrong background within accounting and finance operationsExperience with HGB reporting and monthly/year-end closingsExposure to IFRS and/or US GAAPSAP finance experience (R3 or S/4HANA)Experience within manufacturing, industrial or production environmentsComfortable operating in a hands-on environment within a smaller finance teamExperience working with auditors and tax advisorsUnderstanding of VAT, reconciliations and finance compliance processesStrong communication skills in both German and EnglishNice To HaveInternational group reporting exposureManufacturing costing / inventory experienceSOX, transfer pricing or cross-border VAT exposureSAP implementation or migration experienceExperience supporting international HQ structuresWhy Join?International and stable business environmentHigh-impact role with broad responsibilityCombination of operational finance and international reporting exposureModern hybrid working structureStrong long-term development opportunitiesCollaborative and technically strong finance environmentIf you enjoy operational finance, accounting ownership and working closely with international stakeholders within a manufacturing environment, we would be happy to speak with you confidentially.We offerSalary range is between €70k-€125k Depending on (Inhalt entfernt)e send CVs to to (Inhalt entfernt)
