Frontend Web Designer (m/f/d)

What to expect

• You will conceptualize and design websites and templates based on WordPress—particularly using the Elementor Page Builder—as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• You will develop prototypes and implement multimedia elements, navigation, and user interfaces.
• You will create, edit, and optimize images and illustrations for web presentation (Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator).
• You will maintain content in the CMS and continuously develop existing client websites.
• You will advise clients on a project-by-project basis and coordinate requirements and solutions directly.
• You will collaborate across departments and coordinate closely with technical service providers.

What you bring to the table

• Completed training as a media designer (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in the design and implementation of websites
• Very good knowledge of WordPress and Elementor (Pro) – including theme customizations, custom templates, and add-ons
• Very good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap)
• Strong, solution-oriented mindset and an eye for detail
• Excellent written and spoken German skills
• Team player mindset and an independent, structured, and service-oriented approach to work
• Nice to have: Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) to specifically increase the online visibility and organic traffic of websites
