As Global Product Manager for our Operations Management System (OMS), you will own a key digital product that helps paper mills optimize performance. You will define the product vision, shape the roadmap, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver customer value. As part of Voith Paper's Digital Team, you'll work in a flat hierarchy with direct access to senior leadership and the chance to drive global impact.

Global Product Manager (m|f|d) – Operations Management System (Digital Solutions)

Division: Paper | Location: at one of our Voith Paper sites worldwide

Your Tasks

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while setting clear targets for revenue, margins, and growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities by analyzing customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and Remote Service Centers to shape strong value propositions, pricing models, and go‑to‑market plans.
  • Provide product expertise in customer meetings and create persuasive sales materials that support commercial success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to foster co‑development and strategic collaboration.
  • Translate customer insights into a prioritized, value‑driven backlog that effectively guides development teams.
  • Define and track relevant KPIs to support informed product and business decisions.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams—including IT, R&D, and Services—to ensure timely and high‑quality product releases.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, combined with strong analytical and technical understanding.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software product management or operations, ideally within the process industry or other industrial environments.
  • Proven track record in business development, including identifying new market opportunities and driving profitable product or service revenue growth.
  • Strong skills in market and competitor analysis, customer research, and translating insights into product opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent English skills in both spoken and written communication; additional languages are an advantage.
  • High level of customer orientation and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across regions and functions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed to meet customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a global, fast‑moving environment.
