Insurance Agency Manager / Practice Leader

Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Agency Manager to lead and grow a Personal Lines department. Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of agents and back-office customer service professionals within the Personal Lines department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple carriers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental objectives with overall company strategy.
  • Represent the organization at networking events and industry functions to enhance visibility and build partnerships.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry, with a focus on Personal Lines. Leadership experience is essential.
  • Licensing: Must hold relevant insurance licenses.
  • Expertise: Proven experience working with multiple carriers and managing teams.
  • Location: Based in Fargo, with the ability to work in‑office 3-4 days per week.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 3-5 nights per month for business purposes.
