IT Application Specialist

Impala Search is partnered with a healthcare organisation on the hunt for a IT Application Specialist as they build out their internal IT function.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing in‑house IT team supporting medical professionals across multiple specialist areas.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting doctors and nurses with day-to-day technical issues, while also developing into more advanced support over time.

What you will be doing:

• Handling around 20 first‑line support calls per day
• Supporting users across cardiology, nephrology, oncology and lab environments
• Troubleshooting medical software systems and EHR platforms
• Providing 2nd and 3rd line support as your expertise grows
• Supporting and connecting medical devices (including dialysis machines) to systems
• Delivering on‑site support across multiple locations when needed
• Guiding non‑technical users through issues over the phone

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years experience in IT support (L2 or L3 level)
• Confident communicator, able to explain technical issues clearly
• Experience in healthcare or medical IT environments
• Exposure to nephrology or cardiology systems
• Experience with EHR systems such as Medical Office or Nephro 7
• Background supporting medical practices or clinics

The Environment

• Travel across Hamburg and other locations (Berlin, Frankfurt, Basel region) as required
