Your mission & challenges

In the position of Junior M&A Manager (Human), you will dive deep into the world of M&A, support the team on deals, and learn how complex transactions are successfully executed.

  • Support M&A transactions for acquisitions and strategic investments – from Day‑1 readiness and 100‑day plans to full operational integration.

  • Create templates for the Investment Committee, benchmarks, and market/competitor analyses to support prioritization and performance measurement.

  • Maintain and update data rooms: assist in building, structuring, and managing virtual data rooms for due diligence.

  • Support management meetings: prepare presentation materials, coordinate appointments, and document key discussion points.

  • Compile and analyze company metrics: collect annual reports, balance sheets, and P&L statements, analyze historical financial data, and prepare business plans.

  • Provide administrative support for transactions: organize schedules, create to‑do lists, and track tasks to ensure smooth processes.

  • Communicate with international partners and advisors: assist in coordinating and liaising with lawyers, tax advisors, auditors, and other external parties – often in English.

  • Prepare presentations and decision materials: visualize model results, market analyses, and process updates for partners, investors, and management.

  • Monitor transaction pipelines: maintain the deal pipeline, document progress, and produce regular status reports on ongoing projects.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree (Business Administration, Corporate Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field).

  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in M&A, as well as additional knowledge in Corporate Development or strategy consulting – additional internships/working‑student positions in industry, tech, robotics, or the mentioned fields are a plus.

  • Initial relevant experience in cross‑functional project work, strong M&A fundamentals and a highly structured way of working.

  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, PowerPoint (audience‑oriented slides).

  • You have a perfect command of the English language and, best of all, speak German well.

  • Experience with collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Teams), VDRs/deal databases are a plus.

  • Fluent in German, very good command of English; clear and precise communication skills.

  • Hands‑on mentality, willingness to learn, team spirit, occasional travel readiness and high commitment.
