Loan Officer (m/f/d)

As a recruitment partner, we are supporting a well‑established international financial institution in identifying a talented Loan Officer to join their growing lending operations team. This organization has a strong presence across structured and asset‑based financing and is expanding its loan fund activities, creating an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take ownership of complex financing structures in a collaborative, high‑trust environment.

Your Role

In this position, you will assume end‑to‑end responsibility for a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loan transactions across multiple asset classes, including areas such as real assets, infrastructure, and specialized finance. Acting as a key interface between borrowers, lending partners, and internal stakeholders, you will oversee transactions throughout their full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer complex syndicated and bilateral loan facilities independently
• Oversee loan lifecycle events including drawdowns, repayments, amendments, and restructurings
• Support the execution and allocation of transactions involving internal fund structures
• Coordinate contractual processes in line with internationally recognized standards (e.g., LMA frameworks)
• Serve as a central contact point for internal teams, external partners, and borrowers
• Contribute to the enhancement and streamlining of operational processes
• Provide guidance and technical support to more junior colleagues within the team

Your Profile

• Successfully completed banking qualification, finance degree, or a comparable background
• Proven experience in loan administration, credit operations, or syndicated lending environments
• Strong understanding of international loan documentation standards (e.g., LMA)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• High level of accuracy, risk awareness, and attention to detail
• Self‑driven, structured, and proactive working style with a collaborative mindset
