Manager Outsourced and Contract Manufacturing (f/m/div)

Overview

As a Manager Outsourced and Contract Manufacturing in the Manufacturing and Operations team, you ensure that innovation never stands still by maintaining reliable production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor key SORT test metrics such as Yield, Cycle Time, Line Stability, CLIP, Delivery Performance and lead continuous improvement implementations.
  • Customer Returns & Escalation Management: Manage customer returns and SORT-related excursions, coordinating cross‑departmentally to close cases within strict timeframes.
  • Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving: Own implementation and verification of corrective actions for operational deviations using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Is‑Is Not).
  • Capacity Planning & Supply Chain: Forecast demand and confirm capacity reservations with external foundries to meet business requirements.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Support Business Units in new product introductions and volume ramp‑up.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strategic Communication: Ability to draw clear conclusions and present them effectively in management summaries.
  • Risk Management: Assess risks, make decisive decisions and recommend proposals balancing benefits against risks.
  • Execution Excellence: Translate high‑level missions into detailed execution plans.
  • Supplier Influence: Communicate with and influence supplier teams to achieve targets.
  • Technical Expertise: Solid experience in SORT and Final Test environments.
  • Data Analytics: Strong data analysis skills to drive decision‑making.
  • Language & Culture: Fluent in English (business conversation and presentations) and experience in multicultural environments.
  • Collaboration: Team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.
