New Business & Seller Growth Specialist - TikTok Shop - Germany (Third-party Associate)

Responsibilities

We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be a critical engine for our expansion. This is a high-impact, fixed-term contract where you will identify, reach out, and onboard the next wave of high-potential sellers. And later work with these sellers to grow their GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) on our platform in close collaboration with our cross‑functional teams.

  • Proactively conduct outbound prospecting via multi‑channel (email, phone, social) outbound campaigns to source and qualify high‑potential seller‑partners.
  • Lead initial pitches to understand seller needs, translating the unique value of TikTok Shop into compelling, tailored propositions for them.
  • Assess seller fit to confirm potential partners, ensuring strong platform fit, identifying the seller growth strategies, and clear pathways to GMV growth.
  • Support end‑to‑end seller onboarding, registration, account setup, and activation of new sellers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continued support for onboarded sellers, including merchant navigation through their growth on the platform.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets related to seller acquisition and seller GMV growth within a 3‑6 month period.
  • Understand the TikTok Shop platform, the competition, and our unique positioning in the industry.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of successful B2B sales development (SDR/BDR) or full‑cycle sales experience.
  • Exceptional command of English & German, both written and verbal, for external negotiations and presentations.
  • Demonstrated strong time management, organisational skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a remote‑first setting.
  • Availability for a 6‑12 month fixed‑term contract, with opportunity for extension based on impact and results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within a high‑growth eCommerce, online marketplace, or platform business.
  • Experience operating effectively within a hyper‑scaling, fluid, or startup‑like environment.
