Postdoc DMPK (in vitro ADME & IC) – Proteomics (all genders)

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Use proteomics methods to support research projects addressing on‑ and off‑target profiles, target occupancy, targeted protein degradation, and related questions.
• Establish and optimize proteomics techniques to elucidate disease mechanisms and characterize PK/PD and PK/TK relationships for novel modalities.
• Implement multi‑omics approaches within preclinical development to support the design, evaluation and interpretation of preclinical safety and toxicology studies.

Qualifications

• Hold a PhD in life sciences (biology, protein biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field).
• A strong background in untargeted (focus on DIA) and targeted proteomics, covering sample preparation, data acquisition and data analysis (experience with Proteome Discoverer, Spectronaut, Skyline).
• Hands‑on experience with nano LC and high‑resolution mass spectrometry, preferably Orbitrap instruments.
• Experience handling, annotating and visualizing complex proteomics datasets, using bioinformatics tools such as R and Python (knowledge of annotation resources like KEGG, GO).
• Automated sample preparation experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics is an advantage.
• Apply scientific rigor and are efficient, creative and highly organized.
• Collaborative mindset and are a team player in interdisciplinary settings.
• Communicate and present clearly and confidently.
• Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
