Product manager for innovative security and defense systems (m/w/d)

• Conception and definition of the article structure of our products in the ERP system
• Responsibility for the structured creation, maintenance and documentation of precise product information in our PLM system
• Maintaining supplier contacts at home and abroad, as well as close technical coordination with them
• Obtaining, recording and managing approvals, releases and detailed technical manufacturer information
• Defining and creating test and work plans for our order processing
• Definition and management of development projects as well as support for prototype tests and validations
• Supporting our sales department with tenders, at trade fairs and customer presentations
• Assessing quality deviations and initiating measures to eliminate them
• Building a sound understanding of the system and market
• Support in the selection of new suppliers and products, as well as the design of the portfolio

Your profile:

• Completed technical studies or a comparable qualification
• You have initial relevant professional experience (e.g. in technical product management, development, systems engineering or a comparable role)
• You are ready to take on operational responsibility quickly
• Interest and ideally knowledge in the field of defense or defense industry
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Confident with Microsoft Office applications
• Strategic and analytical thinking paired with market and customer orientation
• You have a high willingness to learn and initiative
• High social competence, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to structure complex technical issues independently, prepare decisions and actively drive issues forward
• Willingness to travel (approx. 10%) to suppliers (worldwide) and customers
