Project Manager for U.S. Space Projects (m/f/d)

We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Thanks to globally unique manufacturing technologies, we create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures and fuel as well as pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimum weight. Your Tasks

• Creating and maintaining project plans
• Coordinating with technical departments, procurement, and quality control
• Configuration management
• Preparing proposals and managing claims
• Preparing for and conducting regular client meetings (typically in the evenings from 4:00 to 6:00 PM)

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (TU/FH) with a major in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in large and complex project teams
• Several years of experience applying standard project management processes
• Strong systems-oriented thinking and entrepreneurial mindset
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proficient in MS Office, Teamcenter, and SAP
