Your mission & challenges
We are looking for an ambitious Quality Engineer who, with technical expertise, a hands‑on mentality, and an innovative spirit, will take our product quality to the next level and help us build scalable, future‑proof processes together.
Your responsibilities include:
- Quality Assurance & Control: Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Testing & Validation:
- Develop and execute test plans for hardware components.
- Monitor burn‑in tests and performance tests.
- Collaborate with development teams to validate new designs and updates.
- Supplier & Production Quality:
- Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and conduct process capability studies.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality‑related issues in manufacturing.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed quality documentation, including test reports, risk assessments, and Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA).
- Continuous Improvement: Identify trends and proactively propose process and design improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality management and development environments.
- Solid knowledge of sensors, actuators, control systems, robotics, and programming (e.g., Python/C++).
- Experience in the analysis and measurement of electronic and mechanical components.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (ISO standards, Six Sigma, SPC).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 9001).
- Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
