Job Title

Sales Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Preparation of service offers and sales proposals and supporting presentation material & documents for Spare Parts and Field Service.
• Determination, review and approval of the calculated margin and proposal risk.
• Support in presenting and explaining service offers and sales proposals to customer.
• Building of sales funnel e.g. through maintenance planning and dry‑docking dates.
• Assist to coordinate internal and external promoting of solutions and success stories.
• Ensure all data and quality of the data in our CRM system.
• Approval of offers within approval guidelines.
• Use of data and analytics to identify new opportunities and the team performance.

Qualifications

• Hold a technical background, preferably with an education in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Business Administration or similar.
• Affinity with technical and financial calculations, offer creation and a commercial drive.
• Fluent speaking and writing in both English and German is mandatory.
• Customer focus (internal/external) and capability of building business relationships.
• High level of detail and comprehension, while ensuring a high level of pro‑activity and flexibility. Experience with negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills is a plus.
• Contributor towards developing a healthy team spirit and team dynamics.
• Have advanced knowledge of MS Office and any CRM (Salesforce) application experience would be desirable.
