Senior Logistics Specialist - German

Full-time Senior Logistics Specialist, responsible for the daily operational management of the German Supply Chain Center and for coordinating with other global supply chain centers. Establishing business processes for the German warehousing and logistics center; researching import/export policies and regulations; and managing team; handling customs clearance and tracking the logistics status of materials, consumables, and products; overseeing the receipt, warehousing, inventory management, stocktaking, and outbound shipping of materials, consumables, and products. Maximize the hub function of the EU supply chain center to support the rapid expansion of European operations.

Main Responsibility/ Job Expectations

1. Oversee team management and the establishment and optimization of business processes at the German Supply Chain Center;
2. Conduct research on import and export policies and regulations across all European countries regarding the company’s new product business;
3. Handle import and export customs clearance procedures for warehouse materials, consumables, and product equipment;
4. Responsible for the inspection, receipt, and storage of warehouse materials, consumables, products, and equipment, as well as inventory management, stock taking, and the packing and shipping of outbound shipments;
5. Responsible for tracking the shipping status of warehouse packages and communicating and resolving issues in a timely manner;
6. Responsible for shipping client gifts and items related to sales and marketing;
7. Responsible for the procurement of necessary warehouse and logistics-related consumables and supplies;
8. Responsible for the daily maintenance and management of warehouse equipment and facilities;
9. Responsible for close communication and collaboration with other global supply chain centers;
10. Lead and participate in company-wide and department-level projects and process optimization;
11. Assist with other relevant tasks within the department.

Knowledge/Experience/Competence

1. Knowledge: (Education/Major/Qualification Certificate):
   • Bachelor degree or above
   • No limitation on specialty
2. Experience (Professional, Project/Process, Leadership):
   • Experience in supply chain, warehousing and logistics, international trade and import/export.
3. General Competence:
   • Customer service and global awareness, strong communication and teamwork skills
   • Responsible, proactive, willing to take responsibility, agile and adaptable.
   • Good at identifying and solving problems, and willing to innovate.
   • Able to handle all tasks with patience and carefulness
4. Professional Competence:
   • Proficient communication in English/Chinese and German, can be used as working language
   • Basic data processing skills in EXCEL
   • Biology background or work experience preferred
