As the leader of the Strategic Merchant Operations team, you will have the unique opportunity to develop and scale our delivery platform across the US & Canada. Building a phenomenal experience for our largest merchants, and enabling them to increase their revenue on our platform through seamless operations and strategic and technical account management, is a critical component for growing the Uber Eats business. You will balance your time between providing bespoke support for our largest brands — McDonalds, Domino’s, Starbucks, Chick‑Fil‑A, Chipotle, etc — and scaled support across all the dimensions of the Uber Eats marketplace for other strategic merchants.
If you have that mix of operational prowess to get excellent work done, sound stakeholder leadership skills that empower you to interact with high level partners both internally and externally (e.g. with merchant corporate teams and major franchisors), the collaboration skills needed to bring out the best from our service, and the innovation and creative thinking that's required to develop creative solutions at scale, we want to be in touch.
This is the ideal role for someone who has experience building out complex processes, who's passionate about tinkering and iterating to obtain operational excellence and ‘Uber’ quality throughout the customer's experience. This role is all about building the best experience for strategic merchants on the Uber Eats platform: the ideal candidate will relentlessly think about how to grow our strategic merchants, drive their (and Uber’s) costs down, promote new products and increase their satisfaction using the Uber Eats platform.
For Chicago, IL‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$183,000 per year — USD$203,000 per year.
For Dallas, TX‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$183,000 per year — USD$203,000 per year.
For Miami, FL‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$183,000 per year — USD$203,000 per year.
For New York, NY‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$203,000 per year — USD$225,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$203,000 per year — USD$225,500 per year.
For Seattle, WA‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$183,000 per year — USD$203,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
