We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Staff Product Manager to lead core accountant experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the accountant industry, driving innovation and growth for our most important partners and their customers.

You will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for how accountants interact with our full portfolio of offerings, ultimately driving customer success and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Cross‑functional Leadership: Foster strong cross‑functional partnerships to align product strategies with broader business objectives. Work closely with other QuickBooks product teams who are focused on shared experiences and VEP partners building the Expert platform.
  • Execution Excellence: Lead the scoping, planning, and delivery of product initiatives in collaboration with internal teams. Implement agile methodologies to deliver timely, high‑quality product releases.
  • Innovation and Experimentation: Cultivate a culture of learning and experimentation. Leverage data analytics, customer insights, and A/B testing to inform product decisions and continuously iterate on product offerings.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performing team of product managers. Foster a culture of empathy, accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficacy of product initiatives. Report on business performance and make data‑driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including service delivery partners and customer success teams, to ensure alignment and drive broad adoption of new product features.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 6 years in product management with a proven track record of launching and scaling innovative products, ideally in technology‑driven, AI‑powered service environments.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive transformational change. Experience in managing high‑performing, engaged product teams.
  • Platform Mindset: Operates with a platform mindset, ensures solutions are designed and implemented in a way that can scale across the full portfolio.
  • Customer Centricity: Passionate about understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable product strategies. Track record of delivering customer‑backed solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong operational acumen with the ability to implement processes that drive efficiency and scale. Experience navigating high levels of ambiguity and visibility.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all organizational levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technical concepts, platform requirements, and the ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • AI Depth: Deep understanding and significant hands‑on experience defining strategy for, and shipping products leveraging LLM‑based agentic systems.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
