Senior Staff Product Manager, Assisted Growth

Category: Product Management. Location: Mountain View, California; San Diego, California; San Francisco, California. Job ID: 19994.

Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Product Manager to drive T2S (Traffic to Start) growth for our portfolio of do-it-for-me tax products, including Do it with me, Full Service, and Business Tax. You will be at the helm of a major, high-visibility growth initiative, with the charter to build deeply personalized and intelligent Top-of-Funnel (ToF) customer journeys. Leveraging our rich data, cutting-edge AI, and a world‑class team, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and product starts.

Responsibilities

  • Vision & Strategy: Define and champion a compelling multi‑year vision and strategy for a frictionless, hyper‑personalized customer acquisition experience that drives customer conversion and revenue.
  • AI‑Driven Personalization: Lead the charge in ideating, developing, and launching innovative ToF flows. Work hand‑in‑glove with our AI and Data Science teams to build and refine models that dynamically tailor the experience to each user's unique situation and needs, with the goal of driving conversion.
  • End‑to‑End Ownership: Drive the entire product lifecycle from discovery and experimentation to launch and iteration. Serve as the single point of accountability for the success of T2S for our assisted tax products.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Act as the hub in a cross‑functional team of Design, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, and Marketing. Serve as the primary partner to other growth and platform teams, including Credit Karma, Commercialization, TurboTax T2S, and CRM teams, ensuring a cohesive and aligned growth strategy.
  • Data‑Driven Execution: Instrument, analyze, and own the core metrics for T2S. Design and run rigorous A/B tests and user studies to generate insights, validate hypotheses, and drive continuous improvement in key business outcomes like conversion and revenue.
  • Influence & Collaboration: Build strong alliances and influence roadmaps across the broader Intuit ecosystem, ensuring the strategy aligns with and contributes to a cohesive end‑to‑end customer journey.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping multiple successful, large‑scale consumer‑facing products. Experience with optimizing consumer product flows to drive conversion is a must.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to structure highly ambiguous customer and business problems along with technical complexity into a clear and well‑aligned strategy and direction that can galvanize stakeholders and drive impact quickly.
  • Growth Expertise: Deep understanding of Product‑Led Growth (PLG) strategies, A/B testing methodologies, and data‑driven product development. Solid history of using data to create more relevant and dynamic user experiences.
  • AI & Technical Acumen: Comfortable and effective working with technical teams. Engage in deep discussions with engineering and data science leads on topics such as system architecture, AI model capabilities, and data infrastructure.
  • Customer Obsession: Passion for solving complex and ambiguous consumer problems. Experience in fintech, personal finance, or other domains where user trust and data privacy are paramount is a significant plus.
  • Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multi‑disciplinary teams and effectively influence senior leadership and stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  • Marketing Tech: Experience with marketing technology and lead management platforms is a strong plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative or technical field. An MBA is a plus.
