As a (Senior) Consultant (m/f/d) , you will play a key role in ongoing client support : preparing tax returns and financial statements , compiling annual accounts , and communicating directly with clients and tax authorities. You will work closely with tax advisors and colleagues from other departments.

Responsibilities

You Will Do This

• Financial statements | Independently prepare annual financial statements per German Commercial Code (HGB) – including financial accounting and profit determination for various business forms.
• Tax Declaration | Prepare tax returns and tax balance sheets for national and international clients.
• Audit support | Accompany tax audits and support out-of-court appeal procedures.
• Consulting | Advise corporations and partnerships on tax/business issues; develop solutions with the team.
• Client support | Manage your clients independently with personal, comprehensive support.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Education & Background | University degree (or equivalent) in economics/tax law focus, OR apprenticeship as tax clerk/tax specialist – plus several years experience in tax consulting/accounting.
• Personal responsibility | Structured, independent work; strong time management; conscientious/reliable.
• Communication | Honest, respectful, trustworthy with clients/colleagues.
• IT skills | Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); DATEV experience ideal.
• Languages | Very good German; English advantage.
