To strengthen technical enablement in the European region, we are hiring a Senior Technical Trainer – European Energy Systems to establish and scale our regional training academy for installers, partners, and internal teams.
Position Summary
This senior-level role is responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering structured technical training programs for residential and C&I energy storage systems.
The position combines instructional design, hands‑on technical expertise, and structured stakeholder communication.
The role is based in Reutlingen (BW) with regular travel across the European region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Development & Academy Setup
- Design and implement structured training programs for residential and
- Create hands‑on lab exercises and practical workshop formats
- Establish scalable training standards for the European region
2. Technical Documentation & Content Localization
- Translate technical documentation into installer‑focused guides
- Develop installation manuals, quick‑start guides, and structured FAQ documentation
- Produce digital training materials (presentations, instructional videos, knowledge base content)
- Support structured release of training content aligned with product launches
3. Training Delivery
- Conduct “Train‑the‑Trainer” sessions for distribution partners
- Deliver advanced certification workshops for professional installers
- Support internal technical enablement for Sales and Service teams
- Represent the company at selected technical trade events
- Support implementation and management of webinar and online training platforms
- Contribute to development of scalable e‑learning formats
- Monitor training effectiveness and optimize learning journeys
- Identify recurring installation issues and knowledge gaps
- Provide structured feedback to Product and R&D teams
- Contribute to reducing user‑error related service cases
Scope of Responsibility
- Development and ownership of regional training standards
- Technical enablement for European market
Candidate Profile
Education
- Meister, Technician, or Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical training within PV, battery storage, inverter, or EV charging industry
- Experience building or scaling structured training programs is an advantage
- Practical field experience in installation or commissioning is highly valued
- Strong understanding of power electronics and grid integration
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, structured training formats
- Experience creating professional training materials (presentations, videos, exams)

- German (native or near‑native level)
