Detailed Job Description

As a Tech Lead Engineer, you will play a hands‑on leadership role managing complex IP/MPLS network environments within a high‑availability service provider or enterprise setting. You will be responsible for executing configuration changes, supporting large‑scale integrations, and ensuring seamless network migrations during maintenance windows. Working across multi‑vendor ecosystems, you will leverage deep expertise in routing protocols and carrier‑grade technologies to support internal connectivity and scalability. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects while driving operational excellence in a global technology‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute configuration changes across IP/MPLS network environments
• Integrate new network elements including routers, links, and hardware components
• Support internal and backbone connectivity across large‑scale infrastructures
• Plan, execute, and validate network migrations during maintenance windows
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure high availability
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support infrastructure upgrades and enhancements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 15+ years of experience in service provider or enterprise IP/MPLS environments
• Strong expertise in routing protocols such as IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP
• Solid knowledge of QoS, Carrier Ethernet, and large‑scale network design
• Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Cisco IOS XR, JunOS, Nokia SR OS, or Huawei NE8000
• Relevant certifications such as JNCIP/JNCIE SP, Nokia NRS II, or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in German (B2 or higher) and English
