SRG is partnering with a global manufacturing leader seeking to strengthen its automation team with a talented Automation Engineer. This role offers the chance to contribute to advanced automation projects within a modern, high-tech production environment.

The Role
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, and commissioning automated systems across manufacturing operations. Leveraging Siemens-based technologies, you will drive process improvements, enhance efficiency, and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems and software for automation projects
• Program and configure Siemens platforms (S7, TIA Portal, WinCC)
• Manage installation and commissioning across production lines
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams
• Troubleshoot, test, and optimise system performance
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in automation within manufacturing environments
• Strong proficiency in Siemens PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming (S7, TIA Portal)
• Full project lifecycle expertise: design, development, installation, commissioning
• Fluency in German (spoken and written) – essential
• Willingness to travel to site
