SAP S/4HANA Utilities Consultant (Grid & Meter Operator) (m/f/d) - Gelsenkirchen/remote

Your qualifications

• Project experience in supporting grid and meter operator customers during SAP IS-U / SAP S/4HANA Utilities transformation
• Know-how in technical implementation of processes in the energy sector
• In-depth knowledge in development with SAP ABAP/ ABAP OO according to project specifications
• Experience in analyzing and optimizing inbound/outbound processes
• Know-how in standard process modules (APE, UCOM, US4G)
• Experience in activating and customizing standard process modules (APE, UCOM, US4G)
• Knowledge in development of customer-specific enhancements (BAdIs, process documentation)
• Project experience in creating technical concepts for the implementation of functional requirements
• Experience in testing and quality assurance in development
• Knowledge in creating technical documentations
• Experience in error analysis and bug fixing

Your tasks

• Analysis and optimization of inbound and outbound processes in the SAP S/4HANA landscape
• Technical implementation of energy industry processes (e.g., start of delivery, end of delivery, supplier change, replacement/basic supply)
• Activation and adaptation of standard modules (APE/UCOM/US4G) and development of customer-specific enhancements (BAdIs, process documents, etc.)
• Creation of technical concepts for the implementation of functional requirements
• Conducting functional coordination and handling of technical clarification requirements in relation to the tasks
• ABAP development in the customer system in accordance with project specifications and guidelines. The schedule for the development packages is based on the project plan agreed upon in the project.
• Performing developer tests and quality assurance of your own code
• Error analysis and bug fixing in collaboration with other SAP or customer employees
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (according to specified templates)
