Our technology enables hundreds of fintechs, neobanks, and trading platforms in 40+ countries to offer trading in stocks, ETFs, crypto, and fixed income, serving millions of users and billions in assets under management.

We’re a Series C scaleup backed by top-tier investors (Y Combinator, Spark Capital, Tribe Capital, Portage Ventures) and we’re now doubling our global engineering team.

We’re hiring Senior Fullstack and Backend Engineers to join several high-impact teams, including:

• 💻 Application Engineering Building modern web applications and dashboards used by fintechs, brokers, and trading partners around the world.
• 🔐 Identity Team Designing the systems that manage onboarding, verification, and account data for millions of users across global markets.
• ⚙️ Internal Dashboards & Broker Tools Creating the tools that power our internal operations and enable our partners to run seamlessly on Alpaca’s platform.
• 📈 Trading & Core Platform Scaling high-performance systems that process billions of trades and transactions every month.

You’ll work on projects like:

Building and scaling Golang microservices and React/TypeScript applications
Designing API-first architectures for global brokerage infrastructure
Powering new features such as multi-account trading, entity onboarding, and global market expansion
Improving performance, observability, and reliability across critical systems

Our stack includes Golang, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, GCP, Kubernetes, and microservices but we’re also open to engineers from Java or .NET backgrounds, especially if you’ve worked in fintech or financial platforms.
