Senior ML Developer/Team Leader -Tietoevry Create (m/f/d)

Tietoevry Create is inviting a talented professional to join our growing team as a SeniorML Developer/Team Leader to oversee machine learning development, establish technical standards, and guide team performance optimization. You will contribute to ML architecture design, performance optimization, and end-to-end MLOps automation with a focus on contextual recommendations, experience personalization and behavioral pattern recognition.

Requirements

• Team Leadership: Guide ML engineers in best practices, conduct performance reviews, and establish development standards
• Code Review Excellence: Lead technical reviews focusing on optimization, architecture quality, and production readiness
• Performance Engineering: Identify bottlenecks, optimize training pipelines, and establish benchmarking standards across team
• MLOps Leadership: Oversee Azure ML pipeline architecture, orchestration, and CI/CD implementation
• Technical Mentoring: Develop team capabilities in efficient training pipeline creation, data set preparation and transformation, scaling and optimizations at training and inference
• Quality Assurance: Establish testing frameworks, monitoring standards, and performance regression prevention

Core Competencies

• PyTorch
• Models creation focused on tabular data
• ML Training Pipeline Excellence: Design efficient training workflows, identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization
• Production-Ready Development: Build scalable, maintainable ML systems with proper testing and monitoring
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with product teams, stakeholders, and end-users to deliver impactful solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building end-to-end ML solutions and custom models
• ML engineers team supervising experience
• Proven track record building real-time, context-aware ML systems

• Solution ownership with strong focus on business needs
• Lead ML engineering team, conduct performance reviews, and manage technical development
• Lead technical reviews, ensure quality standards, and mentor on best practices
• Create development guidelines, review processes, and quality assurance frameworks
• Streamline development workflows, reduce technical debt, and improve team efficiency
