The Role

As part of an Engineer on the 25 Guns Taskforce, you will be working on tough, critical‑path projects and exciting challenges that do require immediate attention. These can be wide‑ranging and located within different parts of Giga Berlin with Manufacturing Engineering being at the core of it.

This role is for you if you are used to and enjoy solving hard problems, you have a maniacal sense of urgency and roll up your sleeves to get things done. A daily routine doesn’t exist in our fast‑paced environment, which is why you have to adapt to new circumstances regularly.

What You’ll Do

• Solve challenges or complete project work in a variety of fields – heavy focus on Manufacturing Engineering, ramp‑up, production uptime and cost optimization
• Connect with relevant stakeholders and build cross‑functional relationships at all levels within Tesla, from the production floor to top management
• Quickly build an understanding of the issues at hand and devise a path to resolution independently or as part of a team
• Communicate status updates on a regular basis to relevant stakeholders
• Show high adaptability and eagerness to handle extra duties and responsibilities, supporting different areas of the organization beyond their main tasks when the criticality justifies it

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5 years working experience OR a clear display of excellence and outstanding achievements when experience is missing
• Mandatory to work on‑site Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg
• Willing to work on a flexible work schedule, including working outside of the regular hours if needed
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, ramping up of volume production and cost optimization is a big plus
• Open‑minded and flexible regarding the discipline you’ll be supporting
• Can‑do attitude and a maniacal sense of urgency
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Willingness to work on difficult challenges and projects regardless of discipline
• Great team worker and good communicator
• Fluent in English is a must; German language skills a big plus
