Application Engineer- DevOps (fmd)

Overview

Digital Technology GmbH is actively seeking an experienced AEM Application Engineer with strong DevOps focus to join our team. The role blends Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administration skill with modern DevOps practices to deliver a secure, scalable, and high‑performing digital experience platform.

Your Role – Responsibilities

• Configure and manage AEM environments (author, publish, dispatcher).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent tools.
• Manage user and group permissions within AEM for secure access control.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AEM performance, infrastructure and application issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize workflows and delivery cycles.
• Ensure the security, scalability and reliability of AEM and its integrated infrastructure.

Your Profile – Qualifications

• Profound experience in AEM administration with a strong focus on DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of AEM configuration, deployment and optimization.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, GitLab CI, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Docker.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP.
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes.
• Solid scripting knowledge in Shell, YAML, Groovy or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
