Asset Manager m/w/d – AXA Investment Managers

We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the real estate portfolio of AXA Investment Managers, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and value creation across all properties.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analysing all information related to real estate assets, including technical, legal, tax, and commercial data.
• Working with relevant departments to define data and valuation assumptions that identify, propose, and set up the best asset‑management strategy for investors.
• Ensuring implementation and monitoring of the strategy across the entire lifecycle of the properties, from acquisition and sales to budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, reporting, and risk‑management.
• Managing asset‑liquidity and maintaining up‑to‑date administrative and legal records.
• Performing additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Economics with a real‑estate focus; a surveying qualification (e.g., RICS) is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in driving performance of specific asset classes (retail, industrial, office, etc.) with deep knowledge of those and related assets.
• Experience in an investment‑management, property‑company, letting or advisory firm.
• Strong background in property acquisition, sale, and portfolio optimisation.
• Ability to take ownership of a portfolio and maximise investor returns through innovative asset‑management.
• Comprehensive understanding of real‑estate legislation (land, valuation, planning, environmental).
• Solid grasp of financial techniques related to real‑estate investment.
• In‑depth knowledge of local property markets and leases.
• Fluent in German and English (written & spoken).
• Excellent management, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Creative, entrepreneurial, and results‑driven mindset.
