What You’ll Do

As an Associate Developer (f/m/d) in our Last Mile Distribution (LMD) team, you’ll be part of an experienced and knowledgeable team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. You’ll contribute at various phases of software development—clarifying requirements, designing features, coding, and testing. The existing project is built using ABAP, RAP, Fiori Elements, and you’ll be enhancing it to meet evolving customer needs. You’ll also collaborate closely with experienced developers, product managers, architects, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, providing a solid technical base.
  • Basic ABAP or RAP knowledge, or high motivation to learn these technologies.
  • You’re a team player who communicates clearly and is willing to adapt and learn.
  • Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Structured working style, with the ability to organize your own work.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends and good practices.

About SAP Consumer Industries: The Consumer Industries Product & Engineering unit is responsible for building, deploying, and operating private and public cloud solutions across SAP’s consumer products, fashion, retail, and wholesale portfolios, with a strong emphasis on security, quality, resiliency, and availability.

About the team: Last Mile Distribution (Private Cloud): LMD represents the crucial final phase in the delivery journey, where goods are moved from a distribution center directly to the end customer. Our solution is purpose‑built to empower mid and large‑scale bottlers and distributors beverage and food companies by streamlining scheduling, transportation, delivery, inventory management, and billing operations.
