Banking Lawyer (2- 6 years of experience) American Law Firm

What You Will Do

• Draft and negotiate key legal documentation in complex banking and capital markets transactions, including acquisition finance, fund finance, securitisations, structured finance, and regulatory filings.
• Support cross-border transactions involving teams from Private Equity, M&A, Restructuring, and Project Finance across Europe and beyond.
• Manage multiple workstreams and interact daily with clients, regulators, and external stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of deals.
• Conduct deep legal research and analysis, helping shape strategic decisions in both high-volume and high-stakes contexts.
• Take an active role in business development and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives, including seminars and industry bodies.

Who You Are

• A qualified lawyer with 2 to 6 years of experience in banking, capital markets, or regulatory work in Luxembourg.
• You bring strong academic credentials , a commercial mindset, and a drive for continuous learning.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); French and/or German is considered a plus.
• You are comfortable navigating cross-border complexity, balancing high expectations, and delivering consistent results under pressure.
• A true team player with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, you know how to adapt, prioritize, and lead.
