Key Responsibilities:

• Support the smooth operation of the banquets department, ensuring all guest conference and banqueting services are delivered to high standards.
• Proactively improve guest satisfaction and comfort, responding promptly to guest inquiries.
• Implement plans and achieve banqueting initiatives & hotel targets.
• Manage and develop the banqueting team, fostering growth and performance.
• Oversee departmental budget, controlling costs and inventory, and maintaining productivity and performance levels.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver programs to enhance service standards, profitability, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, document activities for audits, and perform follow-up actions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in banquets with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and the hospitality industry.
• Creative problem-solving ability with good advisory skills.
• High personal integrity and dedication to excellence.
• Experience with IT systems on various platforms.
• Strong communication skills.
