Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of brewing processes, data, and IT
• Analyze and model technical brewing processes (e.g., brewhouse, fermentation, filtration, storage, CIP)
• Provide subject‑matter expertise in the design, implementation, and optimization of software solutions in the brewing sector (e.g., recipe management, process data acquisition)
• Collaborate closely with our development and data teams to define functional requirements
• Conduct functional tests and accept new software features directly in production environments
• Support software rollouts, user training, and key user workshops for our clients in the brewing and beverage industry

Your Profile

• Completed training as a brewer and maltster, ideally with further qualification as a brewmaster or a degree in brewing technology, process engineering, or food technology
• Several years of hands‑on experience in a large brewery, ideally in a role involving technical operations, automation, or production IT
• Solid understanding of digital production systems, such as Braumat, ProLeit, Siemens PCS7, etc.
• Basic knowledge of IT‑supported data acquisition, SQL, system interfaces (e.g., OPC UA), ERP integration, or process automation
• Analytical mindset, structured working style, and the ability to clearly define complex technical requirements
• Team player with willingness to travel and enthusiasm for actively shaping digital transformation
