What You'll Do

• Represent IT with pride, support, enthusiasm and kindness
• Advise and assist process engineers to find the best solution to perform their tasks using factory software systems
• Troubleshoot basic software, HMI, and printing issues with precision and speed
• Diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing software issues by identifying root causes and implementing scalable solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve urgent, high-impact issues under tight deadlines
• Resolve issues quickly and precisely to completion and prioritize multiple tasks
• Provide on call support and act as incident manager for swing and graveyard shifts when on call or working shift on site

What You'll Bring

• Show competency in learning new software and functionality in various production systems software
• Good communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Proven experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL and basic Python
• Must be flexible to work weekends and any shift
• Able to perform repetitious, detailed assignments and ad-hoc data analysis

Nice to have

• Good German is a big plus
• Degree in computer science, industrial engineering or electrical engineering is a big plus
• Prior experience with Splunk queries, Linux environments, computer networking fundamentals, and Zebra printer configuration via ZPL is strongly preferred
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments is advantageous
• Work experience in automotive or other manufacturing environments
