Channel Account Manager DACH

Mimecast is a Channel First company and our primary route to market is the channel. In this role you will develop and execute a partner sales plan to grow the Mimecast Channel Ecosystem in the DACH region and drive incremental revenue from Resellers and Managed Service Providers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute an impactful Channel plan and strategy for the region.
  • Find, recruit, onboard and enable new Mimecast Channel Partners.
  • Execute against partner recruitment qualification process.
  • Align appropriate Mimecast sales resources to the partner base efficiently.
  • Build Partner Business Plans with key partners and conduct quarterly reviews.
  • Articulate the Mimecast value proposition to partner execs and sales teams.
  • Deliver a world‑class experience for the partner.
  • Drive partner‑generated revenue growth for Mimecast.
  • Drive partner enablement and certification.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing partner relationships and channel sales.
  • Understanding of the partner landscape within the DACH region.
  • Technology sales and channel sales experience with a focus on SaaS solutions.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Ability to work within a fast‑paced, often ambiguous environment.
  • Interface at all levels maintaining strong working relationships across cross‑functional teams.
  • Outcome‑focused individual with a growth mindset.
  • Strong presentation, program management, and negotiation skills.
  • Degree‑level education (preferred but not required).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ideally you have experience in the Cyber Security industry.
  • German & English language skills are highly desirable.

Salary / Benefits
On‑target earnings (OTE) range for this position is EUR 72,000 – EUR 108,000 plus benefits. The range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations.
