On behalf of a well-established financial services provider in the Gulf region, we are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity open to experienced finance leaders across the EMEA region.

About the Role

As CFO, you will be the strategic driver behind the company’s financial health and growth. You will oversee all financial operations, guide long-term planning, and ensure compliance while partnering with senior leadership to shape the organization’s future. This is a unique opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role in a company that is expanding across competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all core finance functions, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and compliance.
• Design and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives and support sustainable growth.
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports, forecasts, and performance insights to the board and executive team.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, regulations, and risk management frameworks.
• Provide strategic recommendations to influence key business decisions and investments.
• Identify risks and opportunities, driving cost optimization and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, financial institutions, investors, and regulators.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or ACCA highly preferred).
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within financial services, fintech, or related sectors.
Proven success in financial strategy, reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance in EMEA/Gulf markets.
Track record of scaling finance functions and enabling growth in fast-paced organizations.
Exceptional leadership, business acumen, and ability to influence at the executive and board level.
Comfortable managing remote teams and working with multicultural, cross-functional stakeholders.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
