We're building TradePronto, a next-generation B2B marketplace that connects food and FMCG suppliers with retailers and distributors — combining AI, logistics, and trade finance to make global food commerce faster, transparent, and automated.

Now, we're looking for a true operating partner — a Co-Founder to lead the commercial and operational engine of TradePronto.

Responsibilities

As Co-Founder (COO / CRO), you will:

• Build and scale marketplace operations
  — from supplier onboarding to retailer activation, ensuring every trade flow runs smoothly.
• Lead supply and demand acquisition, leverage existing relationships with food manufacturers, distributors, and retail buyers
  including the KAM, and turning early traction into structured commercial pipelines.
• Design and orchestrate the FMCG logistics ecosystem — integrate 3PL, warehousing, and cold-chain partners to create a connected, transparent supply network.
• Own category and procurement excellence — ensure product data, pricing, and compliance standards are uniform across all product categories.
• Drive sales and revenue strategy
  — structure pricing, take-rates, and promotional mechanics that balance growth and sustainability.
• Develop strategic and regulatory partnerships — work with regulators, GS1, and standards bodies to position TradePronto as an industry benchmark, while ensuring marketplace integrity through strong compliance, certifications, and trust & safety frameworks.
• Shape brand and market presence — lead B2B communications, content, and trade-show visibility to establish credibility across FMCG, logistics, and retail ecosystems.
• Collaborate on global strategy with the CEO and Technologists
  — from commercial modeling to scaling in new regions and verticals.

Qualifications

• Strong background and extensive rolodex in FMCG (not Horeca)
  , retail, and B2B marketplace operations, ideally with exposure to logistics, category management, or procurement digitalization. Bare minimum 10 years of significant experience is required.
• Proven track in business development, sales, or partnerships within wholesale, retail, or supply-chain tech with strong network in food/FMCG suppliers, distributors, or retail chains.
• Understanding of procurement, RFPs, trade promotions, and category buying cycles.
• Familiarity with 3PL/4PL operations, customs, and compliance frameworks.
• Comfortable with multi-stakeholder deals, contracts, and cross-border trade law.
• Entrepreneurial mindset — hands-on, analytical, resilient, and ready to build structure from zero.
• Willingness to contribute both capital and operational leadership.
• A marathon partner mentality.
