For our small team in Darmstadt, Germany’s City of Science, we are looking for you as Contract Manager 80 – 100% (w, m, d).

Your role

Reporting to the General Manager / Legal Director based in Germany, you will serve as the interface between Management, Finance, Sales, Project Management, Compliance, clients and suppliers all over the globe.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts of all kinds in accordance with the applicable legal framework in the various countries;
• Oversee the contractual execution of large, complex projects; ensuring that the company adheres to terms and conditions, finding and negotiating to contractual problems and managing relationships with relevant customers or sub-contractors;
• Provide competent support in all aspects of the business transaction; liabilities, counterparty management, export- and insurance-related issues, letter of credit and payment terms.

Your profile

• University degree in law or an equivalent field;
• Strong communication skills in English and German are essential;
• Expertise in the reviewing of English and German language contracts. Experience in international commercial contracting is helpful, but not essential;
• A high level of attention to detail, balancing perfectionism with speed;
• Able to work both autonomously and interactively and demonstrate service focus and a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness;
• Likewise, you possess a can-do mentality and a pragmatic attitude, enabling you to easily adapt to a cross-cultural and energetic business environment.
