We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer (f/m/d) within Industrial Automation Business / Innovation & Technology R&D department . As part of an agile development team, your mission will be to develop re-usable software components for the full scope of Industrial Automation BU in close cooperation with architects and the different Lines of Business.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be essential in developing and maintaining the infrastructure and pipelines for our applications. Your expertise in GitHub Actions, containerization, and operations automation will be crucial in designing efficient and scalable DevOps systems. You will collaborate with developers, data engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions within a large-scale organization that supports hundreds of developers.

Your IMPACT:

• Design and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily for on-premises environments
• Automate manual DevOps tasks to enhance operational efficiency
• Thoroughly document infrastructure processes and pipelines
• Optimize system performance and scalability for large-scale CI applications and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, propose and implement effective solutions
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps
• Continuously improve software engineering practices and development processes

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, automation, or related field
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Strong Git version control experience
• Familiarity with languages such as Java, C#, or Python
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and familiarity with orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns
• Agile & Lean mindset with a high level of flexibility and quality ambition
• Team player and enjoy working in international teams
• English fluent in word, writing, and reading; German an advantage
