Expert Audit

Join our dynamic Global Finance & Controlling Team as an Expert IFRS & Group Accounting (m/f/d) in KWS Berlin GmbH, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency. This job will be limited due to maternity leave and full-time in Berlin. 

Your tasks:

• Acting as a global IFRS advisor on specific IFRS standards (IFRS Desk)
• Supporting preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and preparing group reports and ad-hoc analysis
• Document and update KWS-wide accounting policies according to latest standards and interpretations
• Handling special IFRS topics during quarterly closings and business partner/units queries
• Develop and perform quality reviews of financial statements and reporting packages
• Documentation and improvements of accounting related processes and procedures (driving change)
• Provide internal trainings & presentations
• Supporting the external audit

Your profile:

• Preferably, you have an academic degree with a focus on Accounting/Audit or another international accountants' certificate
• You have several years of experience in the field of Audit and/or Group Accounting
• You already worked in a SAP environment or other ERP systems, as well as the MS Office applications
• Proven record in applying accounting principles and procedures in an international environment
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, German as a plus
