KINETIC LIGHTS

KINETIC LIGHTS is the leading specialist in kinetic lighting.
For more than 15 years KINETIC LIGHTS engineers and produces a wide range of steel wire and powered cable DMX WINCHES for various art, interior, stage, show and event lifting and lighting applications.
The main use of our high precision hoists is the synchronized spatial animation of large arrays of tethered LED LIGHTING ELEMENTS.
Our KINETIC LIGHTS products have received international recognition and awards including Cannes Lions, iF Design Awards, Red Dot Award.

YOUR TASKS:

Functional definition of the firmware modules, in close coordination with the application and hardware development departments
Development of the firmware modules / programming
Integration of the firmware modules in hardware and software
Test and validation of the product performance - especially regarding the interaction of the application software with the hardware, in which the firmware is the connecting function
Documentation and further development of the code

YOU BRING:

Detailed knowledge and experience in driving industrial interfaces, data formats / protocols, such as DMX or ArtNET and their implementation in code
Experience in the implementation of digitally operating control loops
Good knowledge in understanding analog and digital circuit technology
Very good knowledge and practical experience in embedded C/C++ programming for PIC, AVR and ARM controllers
Very good knowledge and experience with communication interfaces (Ethernet, CAN bus, UART, SPI, I²C)
Experience with FreeRTOS or other RTOS as well as knowledge of object-oriented-style C programming, is advantageous
High level of self-organization and strong communication skills
Very good knowledge of English (must) and/or German
