About the position:

Optibus is looking for an exceptional Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform R&D team in the challenge of moving the world smarter and more efficiently. We are looking for an experienced professional with superb interpersonal skills, a software engineering background, and the production experience of building web apps at scale. As a Developer on the Platform Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the user-experience and developer experience of our company's products and services by delivering sophisticated cross-module features and architectural solutions.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the team lead, product manager and designer in a cross-functional team currently consisting of 4 developers and a QA engineer, as well as closely collaborating with other teams in the R&D department across the organization
Leading and being involved in key decisions regarding architecture, roadmap, technology and UX
Take part in all aspects of the development cycle
Help shape the R&D department’s technical direction, best practices, product ideas, and team processes

Requirements:

• 4+ years of full-stack development
• Experience with server-side development (such as Node.js)
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and client-side development frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular)
• Deep understanding of web application architecture
• Experience with relational databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Eagerness to learn, desire to mentor other team members
• Fluent written and verbal English skills

It will be great if you have:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Experience with Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with AWS tools such as Elasticsearch, S3, Cognito, Lambda, Cloudformation or similar alternative solutions
• Experience in the mobility ecosystem
