Tasks

• You are responsible for development, implementation and adoption of a unified design-to-code design system that ensures consistent visual language and component scalability across all digital products.
• You oversee the integration and continuous improvement of design tokens and reusable UI elements that support rapid iteration and robust user experiences.
• You establish and refine advanced tools to streamline cross‑functional collaboration between design, engineering, and product teams.
• You leverage user feedback and usability testing insights to iteratively enhance the design system, aligning it with evolving brand identity, product requirements and technology trends.
• You select new employees, organize the team, motivate employees, initiate training and further development and promote talent.
• You cascade the overarching strategy into your own area and develop design system strategies, basic regulations and workflow adoption.
• You optimize the area of responsibility based on key figures, increase process efficiency and perform budget planning tasks.
• You represent work results to the higher management level.
• You are involved in projects.

Profil

You have a degree focused on User Experience, Service Design or a comparable qualification and many years of professional experience in the User Experience and Design System environment.

Furthermore, you bring the following knowledge and skills:

• Many years of experience in architecting and managing scalable design systems that elevate user experience.
• Passion for translating complex design challenges into intuitive, cohesive solutions.
• Many years of experience in collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align design system standards and advanced tools with product development goals.
• Passion for driving innovation through emerging design trends combined with advanced prototyping techniques.
• Experience in developing and maintaining detailed design documentation and component libraries.
• Many years of experience combining design craft with deep understanding of front‑end standards, native UI patterns and platform conventions like web and mobile apps.
• Many years of experience in user experience and design of high‑tech international consumer products.
• Many years of experience mentoring creative teams to foster a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement.
• Many years of experience in strategic design projects and related execution to optimize design workflows and processes.
• Several years of experience in the independent and binding planning of new topics.
• Strong experience with a holistic (integrated) perspective.
• Strong knowledge of budget and cost management.
• Strong knowledge of technical standards around front‑ends and native user interfaces.
• Excellent experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation.
• Excellent experience in the management of strategic cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent experience in stakeholder communication, translating complex design processes into meaningful dialogue with product, tech, and business stakeholders.
