Identity & Access Management Platform Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for an Identity & Access Management Platform Engineer to help shape secure digital identities at E.ON Digital Technology, one of Europe’s leading energy companies. In this role you’ll manage and optimise Active Directory environments, automate identity lifecycle processes and support the company’s digital transformation.

Your Role

  • Implement and operate identity services in hybrid environments based on architectural guidance.
  • Automate identity lifecycle processes using PowerShell and Python.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments (Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps).
  • Support integration of Conditional Access, authentication flows and cross-tenant synchronization in Azure AD (Entra ID).
  • Monitor and optimise Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines and networking.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant identity operations.
  • Conduct reviews and audits of identity configurations and access controls.

Your Profile

  • Agile mindset and experience with agile tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Structured, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Solid experience with Azure AD (Entra ID) and Active Directory, including authentication flows, Conditional Access, forest design and Group Policy.
  • Understanding of identity security including hardening, credential protection and access control audits.
  • Experience with Intune for Windows device management and compliance.
  • Advanced PowerShell and Python skills for automation and integration.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Bicep).
  • Good understanding of Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, networking and monitoring.
