Pearse Professionals are supporting a leading European infrastructure investor with the appointment of an Interim Finance Transformation Director to lead critical change initiatives across a newly acquired German portfolio company.

The business is entering a pivotal phase post-acquisition, requiring a seasoned transformation leader to shape and deliver a robust finance operating model aligned to private equity ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead post-deal finance transformation initiatives including process optimisation, systems enhancement and reporting integration.
• Assess and stabilise the finance function post-acquisition, establishing scalable frameworks for control, insight and performance management.
• Partner with management, sponsors and advisors to design and implement value creation initiatives.
• Build and mentor internal finance capability, ensuring alignment with investor reporting and governance standards.
• Drive standardisation, automation and efficiency across finance processes and data flows.

Qualifications

• Be an experienced Finance Transformation Director / CFO / Programme Lead with a strong track record in PE-backed or carve-out environments.
• Bring deep experience of post-acquisition integration, ERP / systems change, and operating model design.
• Have a background spanning infrastructure, industrials, or business services.
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills, able to bridge investor and operational priorities.
